Peñíscola is one of the biggest tourist centres in the province of Castellon. The castle, built on a mound that looks as if it was anchored to the sea bed, is a reminder of the age of knights and battlemented fortresses that occupied the lands of Maestrazgo. VALENCIA CITY TOUR

Few cities are, like Valencia, able to combine so harmoniously remains from remote periods, as far away as 138 B.C., with the most modern, avant-garde buildings to be erected in the new millennium. From the remains of the Roman Forum, founded by Junius Brutus on the site of today's Plaza de la Virgen, giving rise to Valentia, to the emblematic Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias (City of the Arts and Sciences), Valencia has transformed its layout, while preserving monuments that are a living testimony of bygone periods. WINE CELLAR CARMELITANO/LAS PALMAS DESSERT

You can visit the Cellars and taste the wine and liquors. The Carmelitano liquor is made out of muscatel grapes. The "Desierto de las Palmas" Natural Park is one of the most emblematic places of the Valencian Community, and a good part of it lies within the municipal term of Benicàssim. A natural park which offers a great variety of fragrant plants and arboreal species, which culminate in the "Pico del Bartolo" (The peak of Bartolo), from where there is a wide view of the Mediterranean Sea, the gulf of Valencia and the Columbrete Islands. Training Facilities

The training facilities include one football pitch within the premises only 100 metres from the hotel just across the street. Next to football you will find a swimming pool (just renovated indoor and an outdoor pool), tennis courts, mini golf and a fitness area.

Castellon

The Costa del Azahar to the East coast of Spain, just above Valencia, is not known very well. Very nice surroundings, beautiful nature, soft sandy beaches with little rocky bays and a very interesting and rough inland. The region of Castellon has six Nature Reserves with coastal and inland mountain ranges. Only a few km away from the hotel you will find the Desierto de Las Palmes reserve with a top peek called Bartolo, that reaches 729m. From here you have a spectacular view of the Mediterranean sea and the villages of Castellon and Benicasim.
