This multi-purpose sports training centre is situated in the municipality of Santa Sofia, in the province of Forlì. It is based an hours drive from Bologna, 750 metres above sea level and is the ideal facility for schools, colleges and semi professional clubs. Its location, high in the hills of the Emilia Romagna region of Italy, guarantees seclusion and security. It has superb panoramic views. The centre is equipped with professional sports facilities for the practice of every kind of indoor and outdoor sport. It is also equipped with hotel, restaurant, congress, seminar and medical facilities.

Training Facilities

As far as " outdoor " sports are concerned, Sportilia has five football fields with regulated measurements, four of which are grass and one has a synthetic surface. This makes it possible to learn and/or to be engaged in sports at the international level (according to particular requirements). The stadium, containing a grasspitch, is surrounded by eight lanes which form the athletics track. The grand stands can hold three thousand five hundred spectators. The stadium and fields face a pictorial setting: they stand on a hill which slopes gently down towards the valley below. Thanks to this special position, inside the fields themselves, you will feel yourself on a futuristic platform while contemplating the mountains and woods which, in turn, seem to be looking at us in silence.

Forlì-Cesena

The Province of Forlì-Cesena is a province in the Emilia-Romagna region of Italy. Its capital is the city of Forlì. From Emilia-Romagna's northwest corner, embedded in northern central Italy, to its most southeastern point abutting the Adriatic Sea, stretches Via Emilia an ancient Roman passage that is now a busy highway. Emilia-Romagna's fruitful Po valley, along with its eastern coastline, cultivate the ingredients for the region's celebrated cuisine, enjoyed world-wide. Here is where lasagna, cannelloni, tortellini, ravioli, tagliatelle and Mortadella, otherwise known as Bologna, after the region's capital, were born.
