VATICAN TOUR

This three hour tour is offered several times a week and covers St. Peter's Basilica, the Vatican Museums, and the Sistine Chapel. The Vatican is one of the most interesting and breathtakingly beautiful sites in the world, but it can be a bit overwhelming to the average traveler. Our guides will take you to some of its major attractions, as well as to some lesser known spots, and give you a broad base for understanding the history, architecture, and politics of the Vatican. Transfer and Tour Guide included. EURO 30,- PP

 

The Acquacetosa “Giulio Onesti” Centre is located in the Rome. This centre covers a 25-hectare surface and is equipped with a wide range of indoor and outdoor facilities to practice many sports. The centre offfers 200 beds located in 5 facilities close to another. 20 2-bed rooms for each building make it a comfortable centre which can ensure a pleasant stay to its guests. Also four suites are available, each one composed of two rooms and bathroom. In the short term, TV sets and telephones will be installed in each room so as to enrich the supply of already existing room services such as air conditioning and frigo bar. Also the Internet connection will be provided; a reading room and a game and leisure room will be arranged in specifically reserved areas.

 

 

 


Training Facilities

The Acquacetosa Centre is suitable for practicising many sports. In fact, this structure hosts many areas to practice football and rugby; two plants for field hockey; a “diamond”, namely an infield for baseball, and another one for softball; gymnasia for practicing gymnastics, fencing, weigh-lifting and taekwondo; a plant for archery; two swimming pools (one of which is being fully restructured and will allow the diving practice) and a specific pool for water polo. As regards indoor sports, the “Giulio Onesti” Centre is equipped with a multi-purpose plant, a real sport palace which can accommodate about 650 people and can be also used as a venue for meetings and events. Finally, the renovation works have already started in order to make available, within 2006, a second indoor structure to practice team sports such as basketball, volleyball and handball, which can accommodate about 1,000 people.

 

 


Rome

 

Rome is an incredible destination for a training camp, everywhere you turn in the city you are reminded of its past. The Romans have left some amazing landmarks that have been well-preserved, the most famous of which is of course the Colloseum which is well worth a visit. There are plenty of italian restaurants and excellent bars in the city centre and also along the banks of the river. Footabll teams can enjoy everything that Rome has to offer and you can be sure you won't be dissappointed.

All Training Trips are subject to availability. Prices are based on a minimum of 20 paying participants and on the REGULAR ITINERARY. 1 FREE OF CHARGE each 30 paying persons. Groups over 50 participants will receive an extra discount.
